EVENT MISSION RENOW

eventos-mision-enThe international cooperation projects "Strategies in the use of renewable energy in West Africa" - RENOW and "Rational and efficient use of energy in the Canary Islands and its geographical environment"– EFFICIENCY, made a cooperation mission to Praia (Cape Verde) the 6 and 7 March 2012.
The work program for this mission was designed by the project partners in collaboration with the Directorate General for Energy of the Government of Cape Verde. During the same follow-up meetings were held of the projects, a panel of experts on energy efficiency, a workshop on management of electricity grids and additional technical visits. To be framed in two different projects, the mission met both objectives and activities.
By the ITC, a partner in the Canary Islands, the expedition was led by the Hon. Margarita Ramos Quintana, Minister for Employment, Industry and Commerce of the Canary Islands, who was accompanied by a delegation of 20 people consisting of technicians ITC, academics and business on energy efficiency (agricultural, industrial, tourism and urban) and entrepreneurs.
